My physics teacher was cool. When another instructor could not operate the laser my teacher was called in - and a minute later everything worked. Also, he made a tuning fork vibrate by hitting his wooden leg with it. But what impressed me most was his question.
"Do you know what entropy is?" We did not. And the ingenious part was - when we said so - he did not tell us what entropy is. Then, a week later, he asked the same question again. And we still did not know.
Previously, we may have argued that we never heard of entropy before. But this excuse was no longer available. Our teacher was brave enough not to answer his question the second time either - and he did not have to. We now were keen to find out ourselves.
